To apply for Media Credentials, please read the guidelines below and fill out this form. It's important to remember this is only a request, and it may not be approved. A limited number of media passes are reserved for media members who are on assignment to cover the Festival.
To apply, please answer each question in this application. Applications with incomplete or insufficient information will be declined.
Applications are one per person and should only be filled out for those attending.APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY July 24th, 2026. NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED WEEK OF THE EVENT.
Media Outlets
Blogs / Online / Social Media Influencers: Please provide detailed information about your website / socials and your coverage plans.
Print Media and Freelance: All attending media MUST be on assignment for a publication/outlet. An editor’s letter (emailed from the editor from the official publication/outlet email address to evanjthomaspr@gmail.com) is required for all freelance photographers and writers. Your application will not be considered complete until we've received the editor's letter.
FESTIVAL MEDIA POLICIES- A photo ID must be presented to claim credentials. No guests will be permitted.- Credentials are non-transferable- Acceptance of media credentials signifies agreement to provide media coverage.- If you are selected to cover the festival, you will be contacted week of the event with check-in and specific media instructions. Media credentials may be obtained during specific hours and at a specific location during the festival.- No video / filming and / or audio recording of any performances is permitted (with the exception TV news).- Members of the media must display credentials at all times and are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. Those not adhering to festival policies may be asked to surrender their credentials and exit the grounds.- Media credentials allow general admission to the festival and access to photo pits at the festival’s two stages. Access to the pits is at the discretion of festival staff and security. No use of flash or stools is permitted. No onstage or backstage access is permitted.- Rock Lansing reserves the right to rescind any media passes of those who are in violation of our media code of conduct, any rules and regulations of Lansing or Rock Lansing, or for reasons that jeopardize the safety and security of Rock Lansing patrons, staff, or artists.- Rock Lansing does not arrange for media interviews with festival artists during the festival.- Rock Lansing does not provide free parking for the festival.
